Purpose of the position
 
The Senior IME coordinator is the initial contact point with the referral source for our Benchmark IME business in our Oakville office. The Senior IME coordinator schedules and coordinates examinations according to the information provided by the referral source within a specified timeline.

Duties and responsibilities

  1. Main Activities:

    • Manage and respond to all incoming referrals

    • Enter claimant/referral information into ExpeFlow

    • Review referral and send to clinical coordinator for approval, if necessary

    • Schedule requested service(s) with appropriate assessor(s)

    • Send confirmation of service to the referral source and assessor(s)

    • Book transportation/interpreting services at the request of the referral source using their preferred vendor

    • Book flights/hotels for the claimant

  2. Administrative:

    • Answer phone calls

    • Direct calls and respond to inquiries

    • Basic office duties

  3. Clerical:

    • Review and enter into ExpeFlow the transportation/interpreting confirmations as received from the transportation/interpreting company

  4. Perform other related duties as required
