  • Dr. Sol Sax, Chief Medical Officer"
    Dr. Sol Sax has been a full-time occupational physician since 1980. He has worked for small, medium and very large multinational employers in various capacities — service provider, consultant, and Medical Director. He has been the Chief Physician for Ontario Hydro, and both Canadian and Global Medical Director for DuPont. Other clients over the years have included Boeing Aircraft, Toronto Star Newspapers , GSK, CAMH, Tonolli, Kinross Gold, Vale–Inco. Most recently he acts as the Canadian Medical lead for GE Canada. Additionally, Dr. Sax has been a Medical Consultant to the WSIB, AECB and been involved in many international committees, task forces and advisory boards. Dr. Sax has a postgraduate diploma from McMaster University in Occupational Safety and Health (1981) and received his fellowship designation as an Occupational Health specialist from the Royal College of Physicians Canada in 1989. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine, and a lecturer in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto. Dr. Sax has been an examiner for both the Royal College and the Canadian Board of Occupational Medicine. Dr. Sax has been actively involved in external volunteer and professional organizations including the Toronto YMCA health advisory committee, Board member and Treasurer for the Occupational and Environmental Medical Association of Canada (1997-2002), President of the Ontario Society for Occupational and Environmental Medicine and Chair of the Alliance of SHE professionals of Ontario. He is a past chair of the OMA section of Occupational and Environmental Health.
  • Paulina Kaminska, Vice President, Finance"
    Paulina Kaminska joined Wellpoint in 2015 and is currently the Vice President of Finance. Paulina brings with her more than 10 years of progressive experience in various finance roles spanning across different industries. Prior to joining Wellpoint, Paulina was a part of the Financial Planning Group focusing on sales compensation strategy at Rogers Communications Inc. Since joining Wellpoint, Paulina has added tremendous insight and value based on her past experiences and her ability to lead process improvement initiatives that streamline and benefit the operations and adds tremendously to the customer experience. Paulina is a CPA, CGA designated professional with significant knowledge and experience in finance, accounting, forecasting, budgeting and cost control principles who acts as a business and strategic advisor to assist senior management with all matters related to business planning, financial and operational performance monitoring, and expense control. Paulina holds a Bachelor of Management degree from Athabasca University.
  • Nancy Hicks, Vice President, Occupational Health Services"
    Nancy Hicks Joined Wellpoint in 2013 and is currently the Vice President, Occupational Health Services. Nancy is a Registered Nurse with over 20 years of clinical and progressive leadership experience. Nancy obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in Toronto at Ryerson University. She completed her certification in Occupational Health in 2003 and has continued to meet the eligibility criteria for ongoing certification for the past 10 years. In 2014 she completed her Master’s in Public Health through the University of Waterloo. Nancy has extensive experience in both acute care and Occupational Health settings both locally and in global health care and industrial settings. Prior to Wellpoint, Nancy’s role was Global Manager of Organizational Health at BlackBerry.

  • Dani Freychet, Director, Operations"
    Dani Freychet joined Wellpoint in 2010 and is currently the Director of Operations. Dani is responsible for ensuring consistent and quality delivery of occupational health services within our national network of clinics. She holds a broad range of administrative, organizational, and technical skills. Since her start with Wellpoint she has successfully implemented many technological advancements allowing the growth of client services across the entire company. Dani's experience in the Occupational Health services industry allows her to approach situations from multiple angles to assess how to best meet client and company needs. Ms. Freychet leads Wellpoint’s operational processes and performance, while supporting and acting as a key contact for large national accounts. Ms. Freychet is a result orientated and customer service focused individual.
